Cyber Summit 2021 has ended
With this year’s Summit taking place 20 months after COVID-19 hit North America, it seems fitting to look at how our ecosystem is moving to the "new normal".

We know this pandemic has led to a rapid acceleration of the use of digital technologies for remote learning and working. Combined with the advances in automation, and AI, the ways we interact with each other and our economy are changing. As we return to a post-pandemic world, it will be one that is forever changed. The question now is: what practices will be different, what will stay the same, and how will our lives improve as we adapt to the "new normal"?

The AWS Virtual Cloud Journey Simulation is an experiential, immersive and fun workshop that brings EDU peers together to explore some of the overarching principles of moving to the cloud. During the workshop, participants will prepare for and execute a two-year migration as they take on the role of an IT leadership team for a fictitious EDU organization.

Each team will have to make choices about what they are going to prioritize when preparing for their migration, and react to challenges along the way based on their decisions – and how it impacts their cloud journey.

The workshop is fun, engaging, and invokes a healthy balance of competition and knowledge gained. By the end of the workshop, participants will have an understanding of the key strategic decisions they need to make in their cloud journey/transformation. They will also hear real customer experiences of investment decisions and their rationale, and learn how to start and/or accelerate their cloud journey.

Q: What’s in it for the workshop attendees?
A: Each member of the winning team will be awarded a prize valued at $100 CDN!

Note: This workshop has a limit of 70 attendees, with registration on a first-come, first served basis. Click on the grey button above to register.
