Moving Our Money for Climate Justice

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this session, you’ll hear lightning round presentations from peers on what you can do to move personal and institutional assets for climate justice. Thought leaders will share ways in which we can engage companies to direct them towards more sustainable practices and why these actions are essential for university stakeholders to consider in their climate action plan. After hearing about different strategies for mobilizing institutional and individual assets, you’ll have an opportunity to engage in a smaller, peer-to-peer conversation with the speaker on the topic of your choice. Topics of this session include:
Topic 1: Enhancing Shareholder Value and Investment Returns: Applications of the As You Vote Proxy Voting Service | As You Sow and Warren Wilson College,
Topic 2: Your Climate, Your Money & Your Bank: How to Align Your Banking Choices with your Climate Values | BankFWD , Topic 3: How to Advocate for ESG in Your Retirement Plan | PRM
