Our oceans contain an estimated 86 million metric tons of plastic comprising of about five trillion individual items. Hitarshi will showcase a solution that is built to bring different entities across the globe for reducing plastics pollution by enabling them to contribute to this cause collectively and in return, they enjoy incentives based on plastic recycling ratings. Hitarshi will demonstrate how this sustainability initiative is implemented using hybrid blockchain (private and public DLT) for implementing a Ocean Plastic collection and recycling. He will highlight how the plastics supply chain workflow can be managed using Hyperledger Fabric while Hedera public network is used to hold the proof of transactions.
