Value is a central element to projects, programs and portfolios, but few organizations know how to consistently deliver value, especially in today’s VUCA context where transient competitive advantage is essential. This session will address how to set a value index and use it to prioritize business initiatives, not only on their alignment to objectives, but also on their achievability, or overall risk using value as a ratio between benefits realization (alignment) and risk optimization (achievability).
Learning Objectives:At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: (1) Explain what value means in a business context and what steps to take to generate value consistently and sustainably; and (2) Be able to identify, deliver and sustain benefits.
