While Jordan continues to suffer from the Brain Drain of its Best and Brightest, and given that remittances of Jordanians abroad have been powering as much as 20 percent of the country’s GDP, the Jordanian Expat community remains a largely untapped asset in the economic development sphere of Jordan.
Engaging professional Jordanian Expats, particularly those in the knowledge economy: researchers, investors, entrepreneurs and technology executives, is expected to help in knowledge transfer, technology developed, funding innovation and help entrepreneurs in Jordan to access global markets
This session will bring a key successful Jordanian entrepreneurs and executives in the US whose current engagement in Jordan is a testimony of the impactful role they can play and the need to organize and mobilize the Jordanians professional expats in the economic development of Jordan and the ongoing effort to develop such Network.
