Voyage One - Mobile Phone Orchestra 2020 Conducted by Animated Notation by Anders Lind
VOYAGE ONE is a composition for mobile phone orchestra, which is conducted by animated notation. The mobile phone orchestra could be 24-240 people regardless of age. No musician background is needed to participate as performers in the orchestra and only 60 minutes of rehearsal is needed before the concert. In previous performances of Voyage One schoolchildren in the age of 14 have participated as mobile phone orchestra. The mobile phone orchestra will be divided in six individual parts and conducted with performance instructions from specially designed animated music notation, presented on a projected screen in front of them. How to follow the animated notation will be instructed by the composer during rehearsal before the concert.
