A diverse range of entrepreneurs, from a Tech to waterproof map, who have built revenue generating startup companies will discuss their experience on how to ‘bootstrap,’ that is to say without taking outside investment, and build a successful business. Extensive Q&A session will follow.

How should I prepare?
  • Before arriving, learn different types of businesses, such as ‘venture’ and ‘lifestyle’ and think about different types that will fit your business idea then how to finance your startup.  
Prerequisites
  • If you already thought about what type of business you will launch, you will probably get most out of this session, but anyone interested in exploring startup idea is welcome.
  • Come prepared, and you will gain more from this session.
Entrepreneurs will tell their ‘bootstrapping’ stories and how they were able to build a revenue-generating business without taking investments. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions to the presenters. The session is set to the ‘intermediate’ level, but anybody in the planning stage of the business idea is welcome to attend and likely to receive valuable information. If you are interested in a business model other than the ‘venture’ model, you will hear great stories from the entrepreneurs who bootstrapped their way to their success.
