We present a deep dive into the ONAP Portal Platform and discuss how to build a Portal/SDK-based application. The Portal Platform is a centralized web-based application running in the cloud environment and is responsible for orchestrating ONAP applications and functions. The Platform features include centralized access control, user management, dashboards, application administration, common UI controls, system monitoring/audit, system notifications, user messaging, access history, personalization etc. The Portal’s SDK can be used as a base for any ONAP application. The SDK bundles together a host of different tools, technologies, and standards that will assist the teams during the development phase, simplifies operation with the ONAP Portal's features such as user and role management, and provides a look and feel for a uniform user experience across ONAP applications.
