If we truly want students to be future ready and cope well with the ongoing disruptions of the 21st Century, then we need to dramatically shift our processes so we are responsive and relevant to the needs of society and the workforce. According to the Foundation for Young Australians New Work Smarts (2017), young Australians will need to not only need to acquire the technical skills, but they will also need to use these skills in enterprising and creative ways.
