Lauren is an academic librarian and Libraries Fellow at North Carolina State University (NCSU). At NCSU Libraries she develops programs that facilitate critical and creative engagements with technologies and leads projects to bring physical and traditional computing into scholarship across the disciplines. Her portfolio includes developing the Libraries Makerspace instruction program, consulting on making and digital pedagogies, and developing programs to increase diversity within STEM fields. She regularly presents on topics related to equity and inclusion in maker cultures, teaching with technology, and data science. Her current research focuses on the history and future of knowledge practices in science, engineering, and industry.
