The Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) Implementation Guidelines are a list of general recommendations for IDN registration policies and practices that registry operators offering IDNs should adhere to. The guidelines are designed to minimize the risk of cybersquatting and consumer confusion, as well as to respect the interests of local languages and scripts. This session will provide an update on the working group’s proposed changes to these guidelines.
