Limited Capacity seats available

Abstract:
Invitation is a style of leadership that creates agency by distributing accountability, authority, and power. It sets clear boundaries, providing a context for people to show up (or be held accountable).
Growth and significant change happen when people in the organization transform to a new way of being. How may we invite them to change? A key secret is that it starts with our own behaviour as leaders.
We see invitation as a core aspect of leadership common to effective managers and coaches and facilitators. Through this we foster ownership and leadership in others.
Learning Outcomes:
  • Increased awareness around invitation vs. coercion in ourselves and our environments
  • Explain connection between safety, freedom and valuing people
  • Set context and boundaries to invite change
  • Clarity on how we show up and what personal edges we wish to develop
  • See connection between invitation and emergence
