Come and sit with me at my kitchen table with a heavy pour of wine, some bare feet and a warm breeze and wax poetic long into the night way past when you should be up, long past when your to-do list should be to-done. Sit with me and talk about the way things are in your business and life. There is no balance to be had, no formulaic four-hour work week or empty email box for us to gaze into.

Center yourself. Feel your breath hitting your toes from the inside. Learn how to manage your stress, even just one minute at a time while digging in deep and remembering why you are a photographer in the first place. Check yourself. Let’s be present in this life we have while creating some beautiful, meaningful work.

There are no bullet points, no action items. No clean and easy take-aways. But there are stories, and truths and honesty and emotion. There is the why we all yearn for, the clients we long to attract, but that will only come when they see our true selves shining clear and bright, through all of the BS.
