The Role of Joined Up Data Standards in Meeting and Monitoring the SDGs

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

With the focus of this OGP Summit being on sustainable development, we are keen to bring the potential that joined up open data standards have for the SDGs to the attention of a diverse, global audience and to elicit contributions from a wide range of people, as well as a specific ask that a commitment to joined-up data is included in OGP National Action Plans. Attendees will be able to hear views from a number of expert speakers from a variety of standpoints and contribute their own views to an open debate. Each speaker will briefly set out his or her thoughts on how joining up data standards (e.g. IATI, Open Contracting) can result in effective mechanisms to both meet and monitor the Sustainable Development Goals.
