Session Title: Breaking Bread— How Food and Community Inform a New Approach to Urban Development

What does the future of development in San Francisco look like? How can developers be more thoughtful in the pre-development period? Come check out the Hall, a demonstration of Tidewater Capital’s creative approach to activating real estate during development. Tidewater Capital mixes food, street activation, community engagement, and neighborhood-serving products to build community before breaking ground. Hear from developer Craig Young and community manager/culture curator Ilana Lipsett about their unique take on activating spaces and building community through a temporary pop-up style food incubator. Then, enjoy wine and beer tasting at the bar and linger for happy hour!
