GameU Morning Workshop: Game Development for Kids and Parents

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Your kids are excited to make their own games, or maybe even create games together with you! This can be an incredible opportunity for learning and quality family time.

Bring along your kids for this special 2-hour session in which AJ will lead you through:

1. Fifteen minute talk on his past experience making games with kids, distilling some principles to share with parents.

2. Fifteen to thirty minutes of playing a few games with the entire group to illustrate types of games that kids can make/the value of playing different forms of games.

3. Thirty to 45 minutes of game-building, using materials like cardboard, scissors, duct tape, tempera paint and brushes, markers and crayons, glitter, doodads for decorating and to use as game counters.

In the remaining time we'll visit, share, and play one anothers' games.
