4 Years In

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

OpenStack is now 4 years old, and it's been taking the world by storm. But for those of us who were here at the beginning, it's still that interesting experiment in open innovation that evolves naturally based on contributions and market forces.

This panel will gather a mix of people who got involved at the very beginning of OpenStack and are still active in the project. We'll reflect back on the last 4 years. Which of our early goals did we fail to accomplish? Which of our successes were unexpected? Which are the largest challenges ahead of us? Join Jay Pipes, Anne Gentle, Mark Collier, Monty Taylor, Thierry Carrez, and Vish Ishaya for a frank and direct discussion about the state of OpenStack.

One thing is certain: for all of us, it's been a hell of a ride.
