Through case studies and real-world examples from Indiana and other states that have enacted A-F school grading models, participants will explore how to lead for sustained improvement in school performance. This session will empower school leaders to develop comprehensive school improvement programs that respond to changes in demographics and other factors that can lead to underperformance. Sustained improvement is dependent on implementation of a cohesive model of best practices in the areas of leadership, assessment, pedagogy, student support and learning environment. Participants will learn how an effective system of change management can allow a school to address all of these areas in a unified, mutually supportive manner.
